Re: Hwmond?



I have a client whose watchdog log says the same thing. but the weird thing
is that the server (it's a Macintosh G4 Server sold with 10.2 Server) is
restarting itself after that event... the restart process is happening at
least 2 to 3 times per day. Apple says it's ok to kill the hwmond process
manually. however, they also mention that it's ok for the process to run on
a non-xserve. we just updated to 10.2.3 so I'm keeping a close watch on
what's going on. we have an open case with Apple regarding this.
