Re: Hwmond?

Should it be running on my PowerMac G4 running Mac OS X server 10.2.3? I notice in my watchdog log that there are messages like: Process "/usr/bin/hwmond" respawning too rapidly!

Nice guesses but the hwmond is the process that keeps track of all the aspects of the Xserve that can be monitored (disks, fans, internal temperature, voltages etc). It also sends mail if the notification option has been setup. Want to be convinced, do a less on /etc/hwmond.conf.
