RE: Netinfo newibe

The 500 users you mention need to be defined in the parent domain, not the
local server domain. Is that what you did?

Secondly, what method are you using to bind the clients to the parent
domain...broadcast, DHCP, or Static?

Subject: Netinfo newibe

I set up my 10.1.5 server to be a parent domain. I set up a OS X client to
use that parent. From the client I can see the parent in NetInfo Manager,
but the only users that I see there are admin and root. I have over 500
users on this server. I am also unable to log into the client using an
account that in not on the client. My understanding is that if the user is
not on the client it should check against the parent. I have read the
Understanding and Using NetInfo and the Server Manual. Are there any other
resources that I could try?

TIA
