OT - Office v.X permissions

Hi All,

This is very off topic, so please send any responses direct.

OK, have setup an iMac that I'm going to clone and use as our base iMac. Just
OS X,
usual suite of apps, etc.

I can stop users from accessing certain apps and folders, by limiting
permissions and
most folders are preset as to read/execute only. All except Office v.X.

For reasons that are beyond me, Office sets the folder up with read/write
privileges for
everyone :(

Has anyone got it setup so that general users have just read/execute access to
the
Office v.X folder??

Is there a few files that *need* read/write?? Can I set these as such and
read/execute
the rest??

I *could* live with it being the MS way, however would prefer not to, primarily
as it
allows users (evil students) to trash files in the MS Office directory. Not
good :)

TIA

Dan
