FWIW, I just got my AppleCare disk in the mail with a handy dandy
TechTools Deee-lux X CD. Ran it once, seems ok. Tech Tools is nice for
quick stuff, my fave is the memory tester, which has sniffed out some bad
ram in the past and saved me a few hours of poking. ('cause I don't think
that memtest86 will work on my macs :)
