the sendmail or exim methods are possible, although i haven't done it on OS X yet. we are using sendmail on a linux machine for your mail and have MailScanner combined with a virus checker.

It is MailScanner that attaches the signature, which also has the ability of running all emails through a virus checker (which we also use it for)

i wish i could help with the install, except as i said we are running it on linux here, however the MailScanner can be found at http://www.mailscanner.info/
