When I turn on my OS X Server and then bind the client to that also, then I

currentUserIsInAdminGroup : Not found in 1 groups

When I try to login as an AD user it sees the user but then kicks back to
the login window!

I have the OS X server setup to look at Active Directory the same as the
client!!! Here is the setup on the OS X computer:

RecordName sAMAccountName
UniqueID uSNCreated
RealName displayName
Password --BLANK--
PrimaryGroupID #20
NFSHomeDirectory #/Users/default

I've seen this behavior before (when querying AD with a DN of 'anonymous', and only when accessing a parallel Open Directory Domain..). If you want to send me your DSLDAPv3PlugInConfig.plist I'll have a look at it.

Who are you querying the directory as (ie what are the credentials entered into the connection pane of the node config in dir access).
