Locked out - waiting for Network File Services

Just when I think I have it licked. I've just set up a new domain, etc. with netinfo on my server. I've told my iMac (one of the computers on the network) to use this now for netinfo information. However, upon reboot, iMac is simply sitting at waiting for network file services. Nothing else happens, I don't even get to a login screen, and nothing gets me out of it. What have I done wrong, and what can I do to fix it.

Sheepishly,
