Are you using PasswordServer?

If that's not your problem then check to make sure your user accounts are in the right netinfo domain.

i only have one netinfo domain. there is only one account. (me)
password is basic
[not sure if this means anything] mail is enabled.

hows this look for silly and not working properly
[host1:~] donovan% telnet 192.168.1.3 110

that is just wrong :)

anyone have any ideas -- ::looks down at his x86 FreeBSD box::
