Hello List,_______________________________________________
does anybody know if its possible to create a softraid in an >Dual XServe G5 (Raid 1 with 2 80GB Drives) which has no monitor connected.
The Softwareon the disks is OS X Server 10.3.3
Yet I found no way with Server-Assistant. But it was possible with normal Startup with a Monitor connected and DiskUtility - the Xserve did boot from this Raid and showed no reaction when pulling the rigth disk - but it crashed after removing the left drive.
I installed a mirrored SOft-Raid (2 80GB Drives) with a Monitor and than tried to Install OS X Server with Server-Assistant remote but this tool showed 2 Harddisks with 40GB each.
Does anybody know if its possible to work with a Softraid reliable?
thanks
max
