So that explains those twisted-pairs in my Fruit Loops!

Seriously, I was at a CompUSA the other day and was amazed how cheap
it's getting. Linksys and NetGear had unmanaged switches in the 8-port
range for ~$150. NICs are easy to pick up for $20-$30 now and many of
them have drivers for Mac OS X, albeit from the chipset manufacture.
