<location> label and/or ##Restrict access to local domain section.
This file is modified when you do a software upgrade and the cups don't
validate anymore.

Yes, this has been evoked within the thread.
The problem is that Tom wants users to authenticate, even those who log in locally.
Hence the "big affair" we're busy with ;-)
