Problem with headless softwareupdate for Quicktime

I just started updating a new X Server, but whenever I start the
softwareupdate -i QuickTime651-6.5.1, I reach the 50% mark, and it
never goes any further. I have done the security updates, 10.3.4
update, and the iCal update without a problem. Any suggestions??
Could this be an Apple problem? Thanks.
