I'm just getting into using OSX Server as a web server (having managed MM and
WGM servers previously.) I found in 10.3 for the web section it possible to set
the log to the "combined" style (though it is not the default) which seems a
great advance over hacking config files so that the web analyzers would get
more useful info. Most of the references on the web seem over a year old and
don't know about this.

I'm seeing references to Analog+ various helpers, Webalizer, and AWStats as the
main competitors though there is something called Summary too. Summary and
Webalizer cost money I think. Analog has no gui but there are some helper
programs? Analog is free but some of these helpers aren't? AWStats seems to be
the best overall but has a weakness in that it can't well process archived
access logs which get tagged with some timestamp (seconds in Julian years or
something) in the file name. I've seen comments that people script changes to
these log files to adjust so they fit in better....
