I have a lab where I need to copy certain preferences files to the users ~/Library/Preferences/ in order to get certain programs to function correctly. Normal login script seems to kick in too early before the networks home gets mounted. Is some sort of applescript the only solution? I haven't done any apple scripting so is there a variable that contains the username from login and that could be passed to the apple script? Or maybe some other solution?
