Re: php?? problem

Without a few more details (types involved, calculation formula, version etc) this is very difficult to answer.
There was once an issue with number representations and interpretations with one of 10.x the OS upgrades.
Apple expilicitly warned to dump all data before upgrading, and to reload after upgrading as the number formats were changed.
Maybe this is what hit you? I can't say, of course, as I have to guess.

Hi folks,
one of our customers, who php&mysql system is on our xserve, pointed me
to a really weird problem. He has two numbers in the DB, the third is a
difference of them. It looks like the difference comes 100 times
bigger. The problem is really pity, because having the same data and
scripts on our development server, which runs Linux RedHat, the result
is correct.

To be fair, I have no idea what to check. Does anyone have any idea?

Regards
Robert
