tracking users

We have individual user accounts/logins to our X-Serve running 10.3.5 as an OD master. I was wondering if there is a way, either on the local machine (G5 iMac -10.3.5) or on the X-Serve (10.3.5) to find out who was logged on to a lab machine (G5 iMac 10.3.5) during a certain time period? I would think there would be a log file somewhere, but not really sure where.
