It's from the guy who wrote CCC and NetRestore, who now appears to be
an Apple employee.
Well, just say that he got a nice business card to get in :-)
Anyway, I confirm that using NetRestore for mass deployment is not like
a dream, but approaches it... It lacks a few options that a product
like Deploy Studio has, like the ability to save a machine's drive on
the server, then be able to reformat it and restore it on another
partition.
An important difference, though, is that NetRestore is (almost) free
(well, DonationWare, and you should pay it a LOT :-D) , while Deploy
Studio costs the price of the training...
