Server Monitor Problem

We have just installed a co-located XServer (new). I can use ARD, Server Admin and Terminal just fine, but for some reason - even on the box itself - I can't get Server Monitor to recognize the computer. Is there a setting on the server I'm missing that needs to be turned on to allow server monitoring?
