It just started happening on my smallish network. Looking at it in Ethereal

The "no such name" response in packet 7 is in response to the
www.oldnavy.com.alfordmedia.com query; since the server is authoritative for
alfordmedia.com (internal view) it can respond immediately. But the first
query requiring recursion is answered in 4.13 seconds; I don't have a
baseline to compare that to but at first glance it seems to be well within
acceptable parameters. And while I see the double-request errors in Safari,
FireFox and IE, they don't occur with OmniWeb.

I'm frankly bewildered at this point.
