Update 10.3.4 problems with proftpd, Please help.

I am using proftpd with mysql for the last few years. It looks like the
update for 10.3.4 has caused a problem or I changed something in the
OpenDirectory area that has caused the problem:

Sep 24 06:31:17 ACIOSX proftpd[2278] ACIOSX: Fatal: unable to determine IP
address of 'ACIOSX'.

I think the error is when proftpd is looking for the mysql to validate the
user login and password.  Mysql is work fine.

I think this happen ether after I did the 10.3.4 update or made a change to
Open Dir setting (which was not intended).


Server Name ACIOSX
Rendezvous ACIOSX.local
Server Version 10.3.4
OpenDir:  is a NetInfo/LDAP master
Lookup Server: running
Netinfo Server: running
LDAP : running
Password Server: running
KDC  : stoped.
