Windows Home Directories and PDC/member servers

Talking to Apple and through my own efforts there doesn't seem to be a way
to have home directories for PC users on a domain member server. According
to Apple home directories for PC users can only reside on the PDC/Master
server?

Anyone know of a way around this? Fancy login script maybe?

What are people doing for large networks? You can't have every home
directory on the master server!

The reason I'm going through all of this now is because our xserve has been
crashing between 1-5 days. At this point I thinks its due to to many Windows
users on the server at one time (50-100). So I was looking to take some of
the load off by using another server for home directories, but I guess you
can't do this with Windows home directories.

Is anyone out there running a PDC with a large number of Windows users
logging in? If so is it stable and how many concurrent Windows users are
logging in.

Thanks
Chris
