No ACIOSX is not a FQDN.
ACIOSX is the name of the computer and disk drive that is the server being
used. It can not determine its own IP. Proftpd and mysql are both on the
Server ACIOSX.
When the ftp connection request comes in, it is started:
Sep 24 05:43:02 localhost xinetd[386]: START: ftp pid=640 from=24.24.240.16
But the IP error cause it to quit with the error message:
Sep 24 05:43:03 ACIOSX proftpd[2278] ACIOSX: Fatal: unable to determine IP
address of 'ACIOSX'.
Something with the update or OpenDirectory has caused some map file to lose
the .local or localhost ip address.
