I know this question might be off the beaten path for this list but I have
tried everything else I can think of.
A little background.
I run mostly eMacs 10.3.4, in which users log into the xServe (10.3.4)
running off a xServe RAID, formatted Mac OS Extended Journaled.
My question comes from word and an error I receive about every ten minutes
if a file is left open. Now I have narrowed this down to the auto save/auto
recover part of the office suite, obviously. I have given full access to
the 'Microsoft User Data' folder in everyone's home folder thinking this
would help, but still no go.
Here are my errors:
You cannot save while the file is in use by another process. Try saving the
file with a new name. (AutoRecovery save of Document1)
Then right after I click ok this pops up:
Saving the AutoRecovery file is postponed for Document1.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
