AFAIK, you're limited to what's listed in the output of "serveradmin settings smb", with no other arguments. But there's quite alot there, far more than what's available in the GUI. Now that my server is live, I'm loath to "try things" with the serveradmin command, but if you do discover that you can use it to add other directives not in the list, please let us know!

 Alrighty, here's what I got on my 10.3.5 server...looks like there's
 only a little more than what you can do in the GUI and nothing to
 help with the login path problem....BTW Apple could solve that trivially
 by compiling with a default NULL path.
