Re: Windows PDC logon scripts won't work!

Man, I'll give you that!  Why it's failing is a very frustrating problem at the moment. What should the permissions be on /etc/netlogon?

We have 10.3 server setup as a PDC. Works great, and thanks in large to the postings here for allowing us to head some problems off at the pass.
We have a problem I can't seem to get by though. Windows netlogons won't work. We get the following error at user login and no script runs:

check_ntlm_password:  authentication for user [SAVINST] -> [SAVINST] -> [savinst] succeeded

This seems to be the relevant line:
    chdir (/etc/netlogon) failed*

This directory must be available for the netlogon service to work. And it's
also the directory where you need to store login scripts since the script
name is always taken relative to this directory
