These are Finder errors, specifically windowing related. Do they
happen for all users? Since they're limited to the Finder (a user
application) they shouldn't be affecting other operations of your
server.
A little more detail on that... the error message occurs in any app
that is touched. I touched EIMS (Eudora Mail Server), and the
System Log displays the following. The problem isn't the messages
themselves. The problem is that the CPU goes to 100% for periods at
a time.
"Touched" meaning what? Meaning using the `touch` command from the
shell? More likely you mean you performed an operation in the Finder?
If so this would be using the Finder now wouldn't it?

These are still windowing errors.
Assuming I bail on this install...the question about
re-installing....(this would be my first)....is it simply a matter
of keying every last item in? Yes no maybe? If it is, then let me
get started.
I'm not sure what you're referring to here by "keying" in items.
What install are you running that you want to bail out of?
