A little more detail on that... the error message occurs in any app that is touched. I touched EIMS (Eudora Mail Server), and the System Log displays the following. The problem isn't the messages themselves. The problem is that the CPU goes to 100% for periods at a time.

"Touched" meaning what? Meaning using the `touch` command from the shell? More likely you mean you performed an operation in the Finder? If so this would be using the Finder now wouldn't it?

These are still windowing errors.

Assuming I bail on this install...the question about re-installing....(this would be my first)....is it simply a matter of keying every last item in? Yes no maybe? If it is, then let me get started.

I'm not sure what you're referring to here by "keying" in items.

What install are you running that you want to bail out of?
