I changed a few more settings and suddenly the mail queue went- after a
restart
so I now have a server working finally - DNS open directory and email
at the moment - sending and receiving emails
I will let it run for a few days to see if it holds up
It is great to finally find out that it wasn't hardware (i hope) but
who would have thought it was the email that was causing the server to
crash so regularly - evry hours or so.
I used the backup script for cyrus and I would say it didn't hold the
correct rights to the folders as it was moved around- Just my non
terminal non chmod understanding
Once I see it stable again like I had with 10.3.9 I will slowly bring
DHCP and filesharing back to the xserrve and we should be right for
another relase
Once again, thanks for all your feedback, posts with ideas etc
and I could be calling again it it all turns to custard tomorrow when
the staff return
