Knowing the
network geometry, routing and address spaces would be most helpful if
you expect a better response.
In my case it's:
Internet <-> Business Class Cable
connection thru Xyzel modem <-> SMC Barricade w/ 4 port switch
one of which goes to my server. Server has static IP address and
Barricade port forwards outside server related traffic it. DHCP on
Barricade has a small pool that my other LAN clients get their
addresses from and exclude all IP addys assigned to the server or my
VPN pool.
Secure AFP works on my LAN, either
physical or VPN.
Secure AFP doesn't work over the Internet
with the Barricade's DMZ on pointing to the server or
off.
What further info do you need to further
help?
Where's the PIX in that? Are you the poster I was talking to
under a pseudonym?
However in your case you don't have even the slightest hint of a
real DMZ, you just have a "catch all" IP address to which
packets w/o NAPT maps get sent to. In your case I'll bet you have a
rule for ssh to go to your private network?????
