Hello All:

Have had a pair of Asante GX5-2400W switches on back order for months.
As of this AM, Asante has told me that it's at least eight weeks away and maybe never. They are having chip set problems with this model.

Doesn't exactly inspire any confidence in wanting to take delivery then, does it.

Anyone have recommendations for an alternative?
24 Port RJ-45 GigE Simple Switch.
Don't need managed capabilities. Just a simple switch to plug workstations into.

Dell resells US Robotic 24 port copper RJ-45 switches at a descent cost ($369)

We also have several clients using the Netgear's, though they're $400.
