Re: IMAP issues

We're gonna need a whole lot more information!
Server OS?
Built-in mail server or 3rd party?
Turn logging levels up to debug and see what shows
Error messages on the client?
What exactly isn't working? SMTP/IMAP? Mail.app?
What authentication methods are enabled?

I keep bouncing around this. I'm testing IMAP on one of my accounts - and it has worked only intermittently on the two test computers.

I'm not getting any logging or error messages, and I don't understand why it quit working at all.

The POP side is turned off, and even when on, it's not deleting messages from the server.

The client mail program is Mail on Tiger.

Any ideas how to wrestle this thing?

Thanks,

Neil Alexander
