[QUESTION] Invoicing Software

I'm hoping that out there in the vast resources of the list I can find someone trying to do the same thing as me. Here's what the situation is:

I'm a freelance computer consultant with a couple of technicians who work for me. I'm looking for something to make my invoicing and job logging easier. I'd like a web-based interface so that my techs can login remotely and input work hours. I have an hourly rate that I sometimes discount and sometime purchase equipment which I then put on an invoice for the client. I wait until the end of each month and then generate invoices which I'd like to put into PDF form. I'd also like the system to keep track of the hours my techs work for easier payments. I've been looking for a nice open-source AMP solution that I can install on my OS X Server (10.4.2), but I haven't found one that can do what I want or that I've been able to get working on my server. I'd love to get some responses from you folks about what you do for this. Even if you have something that's not web-based, if you know of something that my techs could put on their computers and then email me a data file to import, that would be cool too.
