I keep bouncing around this. I'm testing IMAP on one of my accounts
- and it has worked only intermittently on the two test computers.
I'm not getting any logging or error messages, and I don't
understand why it quit working at all.
Not working? Not working how? What does happen?
The POP side is turned off, and even when on, it's not deleting
messages from the server.
The client mail program is Mail on Tiger.
Any ideas how to wrestle this thing?
Manually telnet to the IMAP port and start a session maunaully and
make sure it's working.
Use a packet sniffer and examine the traffic.
If you're not getting any log msgs or errors on the server I'll guess
you're not accepting the connection. But then again you provide os
with nothing more than "it doesn't work" with not even the courtesy
of telling us what or how your trying to test this or what those
results actually say.
