Re: [OT] SCSI2 cards



I just noticed something... the 2906 has a 25-pin connection and the scanner has the skinny and guessing 50-pin connector.

Is this just a cable / adapter issue. I'm a bit rust on my SCSI terminology... time to break out my old PM 7200/75 with built-in SCSI!

I've purchased Acard SCSI adapters for under $100 but I've been less than overwhelmed with them for tape backup work. For a scanner, they may work fine.

As for the 2906, they worked under Panther; I've not tried one in Tiger, though.
