Title: Installing HP printers in Print Service

I am placing about 8 HP PSCxxx model printers into our OSX Server print service for our network users.

First, where can I get the drivers (or PPD) files for these printers? They come with an install disk which wants run a big installation program and install software, but then it can’t detect the local printer (duh) so it quits.

Secondly, why do the LaserJet printers (models 1300, 2100, 4000) print fine with a generic PS driver, but these printer-scanner-copiers do not?
