Hi,
I am trying to run Netboot and not having much success. Although I
have
had tests work fine in a closed environment, running on the network is
presenting problems.
Once thing that I find puzzling is that when I start up a client
holding down the option key at startup, I do not get the Net boot
Globe
icon, however, I do see my Netboot image when using the Startup Disk
preference in System Preferences.
I do have DHCP turned on (although not enabled as DHCP is handled
elsewhere).
I currently have only one image set as enabled (but without the
Default
radio button checked).
Any info would be appreciated.
I've noticed that interesting UI bug too. IIRC, you need to have at
least one default image. Punch the button and try again.
