Same here, and the web server quits. It won't restart unless I
manicure the files by hand. This has been reproducible on several
boxes.
I am retreating to 'workstation' OSX for now. I realize this may not
be an option for people doing more enterprise stuff, like remote
management of lots of servers. I haven't tried those features with
OSXS.
If I have any redirection rule setup in a virtual host via the GUI
and I edit/change ANY site (that includes add new site, edit update a
site, change a site from inactive to active), serveradmin generates
duplicate rules. .... So, if I create a
directive:
Redirect XXX YYY
when I save the GUI creates
RedirectMatch XXX YYY
Alias XXX YYY
AliasMatch XXX YYY
Further it does this for each and every rule in all site config
files. ... They cannot be
removed from the GUI. They MUST be hand edited.
