Well, I was booted up my new xserve g5 and jumped before I looked.
Basically, I configured an ip addy on the 2nd ethernet interface.
(I probably should have left it unconfigured at this point). Now I
realize that I want to put that interface on a different ip
address, but I have already promoted the machine to be an OD
master....
My question is, can I just change the ip address in the network
preference, since it isn't the primary interface, or do I need to
run changeip...the man page isn't clear (to me) if changeip needs
to be run if you are changing the secondary interface...

IIRC, you can change and add secondary addresses without worrying too
much about it.
