Re: passwd in SU mode?

I have not figured out how to change a password when in single-user mode. However, I have found that if you boot on the OS install disk and use the GUI to reset a password, it works very well.

I really wish Apple would document what that GUI is doing behind the scenes. (But the again, I wish they would publish a lot of command line equivalents.)
