That's just to list the files in that folder. Not very useful.
It's useful since it appears that the file poster is looking for
*isn't* actually kept open, so looking for its requests might be all
you'll have.

Well, my point is that the logs become very large with redundant data.
Here's another snippet of me looking at the finder preview of an image.
Does it need to be this many log lines?
That just seems like more than a bit of overkill to me. I'm sure you
can tweak the log levels for AFP. But this is the default (and only
GUI) settings.
