Export/Import Users with added attributes

Title: Export/Import Users with added attributes
Hello

I’ve done a silly thing with an Xserve at work – anyway – the quickest solution will be to format and install again – which I have no problems in doing.

What I do have a problem with, is that I have setup the server as our LDAP server. I have created or added attributes to each user like Mobile Number  - First Name – Email address – Using the Inspector in Workgroup Manager. Everything works well for Address Book – users can do a lookup of a name and get email address phone number etc.

When I did an export and import of the users and groups under Mac OS 10.3.7 Server – it worked OK – but all the extra attributes that I added to every user ( Mobile Number  - First Name – Email address ) were not imported.

Does anyone know a method of transferring ALL the user data (including the attributes I have added) from one server to another ?
