Re: Export/Import Users with added attributes

How about something like this:
/usr/bin/ldapsearch -LLL -x -h your.FQ.DN -b "dc=your,dc=search,dc=base" "(objectClass=apple-user)" > MySpecialUsers.ldif
/usr/bin/ldapadd -D "uid=root,cn=users,dc=your,dc=search,dc=base" -W -f MySpecialUsers.ldif

When I did an export and import of the users and groups under Mac OS 10.3.7 Server – it worked OK – but all the extra attributes that I added to every user ( Mobile Number  - First Name – Email address ) were not imported.

Does anyone know a method of transferring ALL the user data (including the attributes I have added) from one server to another ?
