Re: CGP to Postfix

Postfix (as the most used mta) can handle what you requested. BUT. Please
remember that postfix is a mta only, it is not webmail nor a maildrop
server, all it will do is authenticate and allow incoming and outgoing email
from a server.

For webmail there are many pieces of software that will do that for you.

I have a postfix setup clustered between two servers and is serving about
500k users.

Any questions please feel free to post.

NOTE: there is a postfix users group, but they are a bit on the high end,
meaning that if you don't read the manual before asking a question, you will
get reamed. (and yes I am a member of the group)

In addition postfix will also add disclaimers to all outgoing emails, can
bcc all incoming or outgoing emails, you can plug in many virus scanners to
it, and same applies for spam.

Qmail is another road, but in my opinion qmail will start showing its seams
when being overloaded.
