OT: imovie lab setup

Hello All,

I know this is far off topic and I will take all responses offline. I run a
lab with both final cut 4 and imovie 4 on the same machines. Apparently
their is a but where having final cut on the same machine as imovie can kill
imovies ability to export video back out to a camera. The only fix apple
provides is to remove certain files from the /library/quicktime folder, but
my students have roaming profiles on an x-serve and do not have the ability
to touch this folder. Additionally this will kill final cut pro from working
either. I was wondering if there are any other lab administrators in the
same situation? You can guess what apple's solution is, upgrade to ilife 5
which I don't have the budget for.
