This morning we had an unexpected power outage at our entire facility.
The XServe went down. When the power resumed, I started it up, but none of
the clients can get to the server. At the logon, they just hang.
I used Disk Utility to rebuild permissions on the server, then restarted the
computer --- but same thing.
In the server log file, I get an error message that says "Apple File
services couldn't be started".
I re-started the machine twice and things are not just falling into place.
I would appreciate thoughts / directions from some one more experienced.
