Tried to configure the QUICKTIME Streaming server via the XServe
"Quicktime" icon in the bar. The browser came up but never started the
config program/screen. Apparently PERL is used to configure the
server. I check on the APPLE site and logged into the server as ROOT
and did a PS -AX... No quick time server running.

Checked PERL for installation and found
[hal:/] root# perl -v
This is perl, v5.6.1 built for darwin-thread-multi

Next went to usr/sbin and checked per instructions for the file
streamingserveradmin.pl -- which was there. I issued the following
command to start the server and got the following..
[hal:/] root# /usr/sbin/streamingadminserver.pl
Bus error
-----=-----=-----=
Some research showed that the BUS ERROR is possibly something in the
.pl file that's a problem?
Any ideas on how to solve the problem? BTW what is a BUS ERROR?
