Re: mysql

Sorry if my meaning wasn't clear.
Don't worry I got he meaning of your last message.

Dan is right.  It doesn't directly "affect" MySQL.  It affects a lot of things *using* MySQL.  Which in turn affects the usage of MySQL. Which, to take it to its logical end, means using MySQL in Tiger Server has some issues.  I hope everyone wasn't too terribly confused by my original statement.
I got it anyway. My phpmyadmin does not connect as well. I don't know if it's what Dan calls poorly coded PHP but I cannot contact the database of a website. Phpmyadmin says there is a socket problem also.
I followed the instructions of the Apple KBase but it does not seem to fix my problem.
I am going to work around again.
