If you are talking about the JetDirect cards that HP puts out with
RJ45
connections (despite what they say, they are _not_ a print server)
they
allow you to admin the printer via any web browser.
Actually, not any web browser : some JetDirect cards allow only a PC
web browser to perform administration :-(
However, it seems newer versions allow Bonjour publishing, which is
quite nice when you don't have many printers to set up.
