Just in case you didn't know, the Workgroup Manager can do this all
for you. Click on a user then click the Advanced tab. From there
click "Options..." and you can set it up so that the user must
change their password on their next login. You can also set up the
policy for how often they must change it.
This is all very nice unless you care about users doing things other
than AFP or logging in to the/a Mac's console. If you care about
things like ssh, ftp, HTTP, DAV, et al, this is distinctly non-useful.
How are your users "logging in"? (Or should I say, "by what means are
your users logging in?")
