User Templates Good Behavior ?

Hi list,

I'm trying to create a customized User Template for my Networked Home
Folders.

I made a ^^perfect one^^, copied it to
/System/Library/User Templates/english.lproj,
corrected the permission to match the previous ones.

When I created my TestUser Home Folder, It created an empty folder...

So what could have gone wrong ?
Is there a set of "rules" to follow when creating the original folder ?

Also, because I was in a hurry to perform other tests, I copied my original
folder "by hand", corrected permissions,
but some pref files have hard file references eg.
/network/HF/HF/raf/mydumbfile.
so it cause problem to replicate it.
replacing the user name isn't always enough...

I need to masterize my "user experience", and customize the Home Folders.
Doing it one by one is Out Of Question.

How do you handle that ?

thanks

raf
